vOptimizer cannot perform a job on the VM on whic it is running on
Optimization job fails with Error Message: "Vitual Machine optimization was skipped becasue vOptimizer is running on this VM" The following message is also observed in the Virtual Machine Settings og the vOptimizer GUI: "Cannot resize VM where vOptimizer Pro is installed"

vOptimizer & Special Characters
In the 'Virtual Machine Settings' screen of a VM added to a project the following is observed: "VM's name or file paths contain special characters.  This could lead to failed backup operation or to failed optimization"
The information below represents the most common issues customers are encountering or recent resolutions to help you trouble shoot your Dell Product.

Trial license period expired
A new Trial license key (obtained either to replace an expired Trial license key for an existing vOptimizer 6.x install, or to extend the 5 CPUs provided by the default license key) cannot be used with a vOptimizer install which has already used all 5 Trial optimizations or has an expired Trial license key.
vOptimizer Pro Service will not start with Domain Admin account entered
Upon trying to add vcenter into vOptimizer Pro an error is recieved in regards to web interface failure when clicking on test connection a stand alone ESXi host adds without issue
vOptimizer unable to connect to vCenter since vCenters upgraded to 5.1
Upgraded VMware vCenter and hosts to vSphere 5.1 and now vOptimizer is unable to connect to vCenter. Status shows Failed and a box appears asking if there are additional connections to add. It lists the 2 vCenters but the Status is Failed.
Credentialing VM fails "Specified credentials are incorrect or there are no credentials assigned"
When credentialing a VM in vOptimizer it fails with the following error message:  "Specified credentials are incorrect or there are no credentials assigned"
Optimization failing with popup error, “Update VM information: Failed to update disk configuration.”
Both resize and alignment fails with popup error, “Update VM information: Failed to update disk configuration.”  
Optimization fails with error popup stating "no disk selected for optimization."
When running a alignment or resize job fails with error popup stating that no disks have been selected for optimization.
vOptimizer: Error "The destination file system does not support large files"
Attempting to enlarge a disk and getting error "The destination file system does not support large files"
Failed to connect to x.x.x.x ( Permission to perform this operation was denied) when doing a test
When trying to check the connection to the host you see that the connection getting a error message showing you are unable to authenticate to the web interface. VM resize fails on Linux VM with the error message "Failed to run command using SSH connection on
VM resize fails on Linux VM with the result message "Failed to run command using SSH connection on guest VM booted from RAM disk", and the error message "An error has occurred that prevented optimization from finishing correctly. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact the support service."
